Pet-specific formulation Third-party lab tested Hemp-derived CBD With vitamins A, D & E Vegan & non-GMO 30-day money-back guarantee

Lab-verified every batch

Every batch of Pet Infusion is tested by an independent, third-party lab for CBD potency, residual solvents, heavy metals, pesticides and microbial contaminants. Pet supplements live or die on what’s not in the bottle — our certificates of analysis are available on every product page.

Built for pets, not repurposed

Pet Infusion is a ground-up pet-specific formulation — CBD extract suspended in a carrier oil with vitamins A, D and E, amino acids and trace minerals selected for animal physiology. We don’t bottle our human oil and rebadge it. The dosing maths, the carrier ratio, and the additive profile are all different.

USDA Organic hemp

We source from USDA-certified organic hemp farms — same supply chain as every other oil in the Krush range. No synthetic pesticides, no chemical fertilisers. The hemp your dog gets is the hemp we’d put in our own bodies.

Made in Los Angeles

Pet Infusion is manufactured in our state-of-the-art Los Angeles laboratory under cGMP-aligned standards . Single facility, single team, full chain of custody from raw hemp to bottled oil.

30-day money-back

Try it for a full month. If your dog or cat doesn’t take to it — empty bottle, half-empty, unopened, no questions — we’ll refund you in full. Pets are individuals; we know not every animal will respond the same way.

Why pet-specific

A CBD oil built for the animals you'd do anything for.

Pets share the endocannabinoid system with us — every mammal does. That’s the biology that makes CBD relevant to a dog, a cat or a horse in the first place. What pets don’t share with us is body mass, metabolism, taste tolerance or carrier-oil sensitivity. Pet Infusion was built from that gap upward: a CBD blend specifically formulated for animal physiology, not a human oil with a pet label on the front.

The base is the same USDA-certified organic hemp we use for every Krush oil. The additive profile is where Pet Infusion diverges — vitamins A, D and E for skin, coat and immune support; amino acids and trace minerals to round out the supplement profile; a milder carrier dosed for the kind of small-volume daily intake that a 6 kg cat or a 30 kg dog can actually accept without resistance.

This is the bottle we built for the older dog who’s not bouncing the way he used to. The cat who hates car trips. The horse whose owner wants a supplement that’s transparent on what’s in the bottle and what isn’t. Many pet parents report calmer animals during stressful events — fireworks, vet visits, separation — and steadier rhythm day-to-day. We don’t promise that for every animal. Pets are individuals. We promise the formulation is honest, the lab work is published, and your vet can read the label.

How it works

The endocannabinoid system — and why it works the same way in your dog.

Every mammal — dogs, cats, horses, humans — has an endocannabinoid system (ECS). It’s the regulatory network that helps the body keep its baseline: mood, sleep, immune response, appetite, response to stress. CBD interacts with this system in your dog the same way it interacts with you. Here’s the version that matters at the bowl.

01

The ECS is mammalian

The endocannabinoid system was first mapped in mammals in the early 1990s. Dogs, cats and horses all have CB1 and CB2 receptors in similar distributions to humans — CB1 in the central nervous system, CB2 in peripheral and immune tissues. This is why CBD has any effect on pets at all: it’s not a species-specific curiosity, it’s mammal biology.

02

Dose by body weight

Unlike human dosing — which is mostly tuned by feel — pet dosing is anchored to body weight in milligrams per kilogram. Pet Infusion is formulated around the conservative 0.1–0.5 mg of CBD per kg of body weight per dose, twice daily, with a stepwise increase week by week if needed.  A dosing chart by weight lives in Section 8.

03

Vitamins and minerals, not just CBD

Pet Infusion isn’t a single-compound oil. The blend adds vitamins A, D and E (skin, coat, immune support), amino acids and trace minerals to deliver a more rounded daily supplement. The CBD is the headline. The supporting cast is what makes this a daily-feed product rather than a one-off calming drop.

04

Why pet formulation, not human oil

Human CBD oils are typically built around MCT or hemp seed carriers at strengths and ratios designed for adult human metabolism. Pet Infusion uses a milder carrier ratio, no human-targeted flavour additives (which can include compounds dogs and cats shouldn’t eat — xylitol, chocolate, grape extracts, some essential oils), and a strength that calibrates predictably across a 6 kg cat and a 35 kg dog. Don’t substitute a human oil. The formulation difference is the whole point.

What to expect

From the first bowl to a steady routine.

Pet CBD works on two layers — an in-the-moment settling effect and a cumulative steadiness that builds with consistent daily dosing. Below is a starting dosing chart by weight and a week-by-week guide.

Animal weight Conservative starting dose After 7 days, if needed

Cat / small dog · 2–5 kg

1–2 mg CBD, twice daily

up to 2.5 mg twice daily

Small dog · 5–10 kg

Medium dog · 10–25 kg

5–12 mg CBD, twice daily

up to 12 mg twice daily

Large dog · 25–40 kg

12–20 mg CBD, twice daily

up to 20 mg twice daily

Giant breed / horse · 40 kg+

20–40 mg CBD, twice daily

titrate with your vet

First 60 minutes:

A subtle settling.

Most pet parents notice a soft drop in arousal within the first hour of a dose — most useful as a pre-stress dose before a thunderstorm, a vet visit or a car trip. This is the moment-to-moment effect; the cumulative effect builds with consistent use.

After 7 days:

A steadier baseline.

By the end of week one of consistent twice-daily dosing, the moment-to-moment effects start running together. Owners often describe this as the animal "settling earlier in the evening" or "less reactive at the door". Hold this dose for at least another week before titrating up.

After 2–4 weeks:

Routine, rest, recovery.

Cumulative benefits — particularly on sleep settling and on the kind of mobility-related discomfort many older animals carry — typically land in the 2–4 week window. This is also when pet parents tend to know whether Pet Infusion is the right fit. If not, that's what the 30-day money-back is for.

Month 2 onward:

A locked-in daily ritual.

By the second bottle, Pet Infusion is part of the bowl. Most pet parents move to the subscribe-and-save here — same dose, same delivery, no reorder admin while the animal's routine is stable.

Macks

11-year-old Labrador · Sydney, NSW

“Mabel’s a bit creakier than she used to be. We started Pet Infusion on the vet’s nod — she said do your reading first — and three weeks in, Mabel’s bouncing onto the couch like the old days. Hard to say it’s the CBD for certain, but it’s the only thing we changed.”

Emily Walker

4-year-old rescue cat · Melbourne, VIC

“We rescued Pippa with a fairly serious fear of strangers. A few drops in her water before guests come over and she’s actually in the room with us now. Quietly under the table, but in the room. That’s huge for her.”

Michael

7-year-old Cattle Dog · Perth, WA

“We use it specifically for fireworks and storms — Buddy goes from pacing to lying down within about half an hour. I keep the bottle in the kitchen drawer next to his harness.”

Harper Martin

Two-dog household · Brisbane, QLD

“Honest review: one of our two dogs took to it straight away, the other was indifferent. Krush refunded the second bottle no questions when I called. Will keep using it for the dog who likes it. Genuinely good company to deal with.”

The science

What the research actually says about CBD in animals.

Pet CBD research lags human CBD research by about a decade, but the foundational mammalian-ECS work is well established and the dog-specific clinical literature is finally catching up. Pet Infusion is built on the published research, not on extrapolation from anecdotes.

Endocannabinoid system · mammalian

The ECS in dogs, cats and horses

Cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2) were first identified in mammalian tissue in the early 1990s and have since been documented in dogs, cats, horses and other domesticated mammals.1 The receptor distribution mirrors that of humans — CB1 concentrated in the central nervous system, CB2 in peripheral and immune tissues — which is the physiological basis for CBD having any effect in pets at all.

 Canine CBD pharmacokinetics

How CBD moves through a dog

A 2018 Colorado State University study (Gamble et al.) on dogs with mobility-related discomfort observed measurable differences in owner-reported comfort scores after twice-daily CBD oil dosing at 2 mg/kg over 4 weeks, with no notable adverse events at that dose.2 This is one of the earliest peer-reviewed dog-specific CBD trials and remains a foundational reference in veterinary CBD literature.

Safety profile · animal

 What we know about safety

Available research on CBD in dogs at conservative dosing has not flagged significant safety concerns over short-to-medium trial periods, though long-term studies are still limited. The most commonly observed side effect is mild gastrointestinal change, which is one reason starting low and titrating up matters. CBD can interact with cytochrome-P450-metabolised veterinary medications — talk to your vet if your pet is on regular prescriptions.3

We know pet supplements are a leap of faith. You can’t ask the animal whether it’s working, and not every pet will respond the same way to the same product. So we make the maths easy: try Pet Infusion for 30 days, and if your dog or cat doesn’t take to it — empty bottle, half-empty, unopened — email support@krushorganics.com and we’ll process a full refund.

No questions. No restocking fee. No “did you give it a fair go” interrogation. We’d rather lose the sale than keep the pet parent whose animal isn’t getting value. Refunds land within three business days.

  • What's the right CBD dosage for my dog's weight?

A conservative starting dose for CBD oil in dogs is 0.1 to 0.5 milligrams of CBD per kilogram of body weight, given twice daily. For a 10 kg dog that’s roughly 1 to 5 mg per dose; for a 25 kg dog, roughly 2.5 to 12 mg per dose. Hold the starting dose for at least seven days before adjusting upward, and titrate slowly in small increments. Pet Infusion’s published dosing chart by weight is in the timeline section above. Always consult your vet before introducing CBD, particularly for older animals or animals on regular medication.

  • Can cats take CBD oil?

Yes — cats have the same endocannabinoid system as dogs and humans, and Pet Infusion is formulated to be suitable for cats as well as dogs and horses. Cats typically need a lower absolute dose because of their smaller body weight, and they can be more sensitive to taste, so a single drop or two added to the water bowl or food rather than dropped directly into the mouth often works better. Start at the conservative end of the dosing chart (1–2 mg twice daily for a 2–5 kg cat), hold the dose for at least a week, and talk to your vet before introducing.

  • Will CBD make my dog or cat high?

No. CBD does not produce a “high” in pets or in humans — that effect is caused by THC, which is a different cannabinoid. Pet Infusion is built from hemp-derived CBD with negligible THC content, well below any threshold associated with psychoactive effect in mammals. What pet parents typically observe is calmer behaviour and steadier settling — not disorientation or intoxication. If you ever see an animal acting unwell after any supplement, stop dosing and call your vet.

  • Can I give my dog human CBD oil instead?

It is not advised. Human CBD oils are formulated for adult human metabolism — usually at higher per-drop strengths, with carrier oils and flavour additives calibrated for humans. Some human-targeted flavourings (xylitol, chocolate, grape extract and certain essential oils) are toxic to dogs and cats. Pet Infusion uses a pet-tolerant carrier, no human-targeted flavour additives, and a strength that calibrates predictably across pet body weights from a 2 kg cat to a 40 kg dog. The pet-specific formulation is the whole reason this is a separate product.

  • How long does CBD oil take to work on dogs?

Pet parents typically notice a subtle in-the-moment settling effect within 30 to 60 minutes of a sublingual or water-bowl dose. The cumulative effects — steadier settling, improved rest patterns and the kind of changes that suggest the animal is in a calmer baseline — usually build over the first one to four weeks of consistent twice-daily dosing. If you don’t see any change in the first month, that’s exactly the window the 30-day money-back guarantee is built for.

  • Is CBD oil safe to give my pet every day?

Available research on conservative daily CBD dosing in dogs has not flagged significant safety concerns over short-to-medium trial periods, and most pet-CBD protocols are built around twice-daily dosing. Long-term (multi-year) safety studies are still limited, so the responsible default is: consult your vet, start at the conservative end of the dosing chart, and review with the vet at routine check-ups. Pet Infusion is built to be taken daily as a supplement, not as a one-off calming aid.

  • Can CBD interact with my pet's medication?

CBD can interact with veterinary medications metabolised by the cytochrome-P450 enzyme system — the same enzyme family affected by grapefruit in humans. This includes some anticonvulsants, certain pain medications and some sedatives. If your pet is on regular prescription medication, talk to your vet before introducing Pet Infusion. The vet may want to monitor blood levels of the existing medication, adjust the timing, or advise against combining.

  • How do I give CBD oil to a fussy dog or cat?

The simplest method is adding the dose to drinking water or wet food rather than dropping it directly into the mouth. For Pet Infusion specifically, the recommended dosing for general wellbeing and stress management is one to three full droppers (1–2 mL) added to a bowl of drinking water. For dogs that take a direct dropper happily, sublingual is faster-acting — but for a fussy cat or a wary rescue, the bowl is the easier path and the absorption time difference is small.

  • Is Pet Infusion legal to ship in Australia?

Yes. Pet Infusion is a hemp-derived CBD supplement that ships Australia-wide direct from Krush Organics. Australian regulations on hemp-derived pet products differ from regulations on human therapeutic CBD — Krush Organics ships Pet Infusion within those rules and provides certificates of analysis for every batch on request.
